CHERRYVALE -- Robert "Bob" Lee Yeats, 60 of Cherryvale died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

He was born Aug. 27, 1949, in Coffeyville to Marshall and Anna Mae (Knight) Yeats. He attended grade school in South Coffeyville, Okla., and attended high school in Lenapah, Okla.

Mr. Yeats worked for the city of Cherryvale as a waste operator and water plant operator.

On March 26, 1971, he married Delpha Wilson and the couple later divorced.

Survivors include a son, Marty Yeats of Springfield, Mo.; a daughter, Amy Bowlds of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Anna Mae Pehl; his sister, Sheila Guinn of Edmond, Okla.; and two brothers, Bill and Rex Haymaker, both of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. today at Lewark Church of God in Coffeyville. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.

Potts Chapel of Cherryvale is in charge of arrangements.
