Michael “Mikey” Henninger, 35, of Parsons died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Parsons.

He was born Aug. 24, 1974, at Winchester, a son of William J. “Willie” and Donna J. (Gillespie) Henninger. He was raised in Oskaloosa and graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the Class of 1994. He later received his solo flight pilot’s license from McPherson Community College. He moved to Parsons in 1994. For many years he worked construction at LaForge and Budd and currently was employed at North End Used Cars.

He enjoyed barbecuing.

Survivors include a son, Isaiah Tavis of Perry; his parents, William and Donna Henninger of Parsons; his brothers and sisters, Mary Hammond, Crystal Williams, Zachary Williams, all of Parsons, Jerry Carver, Wayne Carver, both of Perry, Bambi Dome of Oskaloosa and Angie Riley of Effingham; 17 nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Carver Henninger.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
