HUTCHINSON — Lucile Jelean Weaver, 94, of Hutchinson, a former Parsons resident, died on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Wesley Towers Hester Care Center in Hutchinson.

She was born on Oct. 6, 1915, in Monett, Mo., to Rufus Meridith and Sarah Jane (Bragg) Dawson. She graduated from Aurora High School and worked as a nurse’s aide.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Rhoades of Salina; three granddaughters; a great-grandson; and a sister, Evalina Brown of Mount Vernon, Mo.

Her parents; and a daughter, Joyce Foster, preceded her in death.

The memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Mo. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Compassus in care of the funeral home.
