Demetria “Dani” Dixon, 41, of Parsons died at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband, William Dixon, of the home.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. These may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, 67357.
