ST. LOUIS — Royal Scudder “Scud” Flesh, 91, of St. Louis died Friday, May 7, 2010, in Borrego Springs, Calif., and his wife, Anne (Askren) Flesh, also 91, died Monday, May 10, 2010.

The Flesh family owns The Flesh Co. in Parsons. The couple were enjoying their annual visit to Borrego Springs and preparing to return to their home in St. Louis when they died.

They both attended the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Mr. Flesh served in the military during World War II.

Mr. Flesh joined his father in The Flesh Co. after the war.

Survivors include a son, Roy of St. Louis; and a daughter, Dianne Gumper of Red Lodge, Mont.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The immediate family will meet privately to share remembrances and celebrate Anne and Royal’s lives.
