Mrs. Presson was born on Jan. 10, 1917, at Cherryvale to Robert N. and Nellie (Davidson) Miller. She graduated from Cherryvale High School and Pittsburg State Teachers College.
She married Donald Max Presson on July 10, 1941, in Girard. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1981.
She retired from teaching in 1979.
Survivors include a son, Don Presson, of Cherryvale; four grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cherryvale United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cherryvale. The visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Cherryvale United Methodist Church and may be left at the funeral home.
