ERIE -- Brenda L. Davidson, 52, of Erie died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, at her home. She had been in failing health.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1956, at Parsons to Cleal and LaDonna (Myers) Perry. She grew up at Parsons and Cherokee and attended schools there.

She lived in Parsons, Galesburg and Walnut over the years before moving to Erie in 2002. She was a homemaker.

She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, animals and country music. She attended First Baptist Church in Erie.

She married Paul Spencer. They later divorced. She married Lyle Davidson on Feb. 3, 1995, at rural Parsons. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Shawn Spencer of Mulberry and Mark Davidson of Walnut; two daughters, Kelli Long and Mistie Dawn Baker, both of Erie; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Erie. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery at Walnut. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Erie.
