HARRISONVILLE, Mo. — Ruth Catherine Holden, 90, of Harrisonville, Mo., died Friday, April 23, 2010, at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Mo.

She was born Nov. 16, 1919, in Hallowell to Charles Henley and Alta Ruth (Adkins) Alexander.

She married Archie Leroy Holden in Columbus on June 12, 1937, in Columbus.

Mrs. Holden was an accountant and bookkeeper for Seaboard Milling Corp. in Kansas City, Mo., until retiring in 1975.

Survivors include a son, Ronald L. Holden of Harrisonville, Mo.; a daughter, Beverly Coons of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Archie, in August 1994.

The service will be at 10 a.m. today at Antioch Southern Baptist Church in Harrisonville, Mo. The family will receive friends for an hour before the service at the church. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at McKee Cemetery near Hallowell.
