OSWEGO — Ronald G. Minor, 50, of Oswego died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at his home.

He was born Dec. 9, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo., to Bill G. and Wanda M. (Wheat) Minor. He graduated from Oswego High School in 1977.

Mr. Minor worked for Stephens Manufacturing, Parsons Precision Products, Con-Agra Feed and Mill and Tamco.

He married Kim Belknap in 1980; they later divorced.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Morillo and her husband, Jim, of Fort Scott; a son, William J. Minor and his special friend, Tammy Fields, both of Oswego; his parents, Bill and Wanda Minor of Oswego; three grandchildren, Vanessa, James and Katy of Fort Scott; two sisters, Marcia Lynn Thurmond and her husband, Jeff, and Karen Leigh Garza, all of Salt Lake City; and two brothers, Thomas E. Minor and his wife, Peggy, and Charles W. Minor, all of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oswego United Methodist Church. Friends may call until 6 p.m. today at the Murdock Funeral Home. Family will receive friends starting at 10 a.m. before the service.
