CHERRYVALE — James G. Gann Jr., 55, of Cherryvale was found dead Sunday, April 11, 2010, at his home.

He was born Feb. 25, 1955, in Caney to James G. and Marie (Griswald) Gann. He attended the Caney school system and some college.

Mr. Gann was a welder for the MEC Co. in Neodesha for more than 22 years.

He married Katie Pierce in 1982 at Tyro. They later divorced.

Survivors include a daughter, Heather Blake of Oswego; two sons, Jeremiah Gann of Tulsa and Joshua Gann of Coffeyville; seven grandchildren; a brother, Bill Gann of Joplin; and a sister, Janine Kelley of Pineville, Mo.

Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale. Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery at Cherryvale.
