SEYMOUR, Mo. — Hubert Eugene Wagner, 68, of rural Seymour, Mo., died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at his home.

He was born June 22, 1941, in St. Paul to Hubert “Herb” Eugene Sr. and Clara Alice (Holding) Wagner. He grew up in St. Paul and the Pittsburg area and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1959.

On Sept. 27, 1996, he married Barbara Jean Herrick. She survives of the home.

He owned and operated Wagner Trucking Co. with his wife.

Other survivors include his children, Merri Lynn Wagner of Glasgow, Mont., Lance Smith of Wichita and Tonya Bowdre of El Dorado; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Wagner of St. Paul; and three sisters, his twin, Judy Altom of St. Paul, Sue Reed of Quincy, Ill., and Kay Peak of Girard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Steve Smith.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Old Mission Funeral Home in Wichita. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Seymour, Mo.
