OSWEGO — Marjorie A. Wiand, 83, of Oswego died 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Oswego Community Hospital following a long illness.

She was born March 1, 1927, in New Castle, Ind., to Byron and Ora (Morgan) Miller. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing at Pittsburg State University and worked as a nurse for 26 years.

On Sept. 2, 1945, she married Paul M. Wiand in New Castle, Ind. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include children, Nancy Leach of Olathe, Cathy Jeffrey of New Port, Ark.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Oswego United Methodist Church.

The family suggests memorials to the Oswego United Methodist Church, which may be sent to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 611 S. East Ave. Columbus, 66725.
