She was born May 14, 1941, at Girard to John and Thelma (Jacquinot) Walsh. She was raised at Greenbush and attended grade school there. She graduated from St. Paul High School.
On Jan. 21, 1961, she married Donald L. Lallemand at Greenbush, where she helped her husband operate the family farm for 20 years. They later divorced. She married Pat Fox on Nov. 24, 1987, in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Fox had worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in past years and was currently employed at Pittsburg State University as supervisor of the housekeeping department.
She was Catholic. Her hobbies included gardening, polka dancing, trips to Las Vegas and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Pat Fox, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Fawn Lallemand of Pittsburg and Ron and Cindy Lallemand of Walnut; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Randy Little and Jane and Bill Kavanagh, all of Girard; nine grandchildren, Blake Lallemand of Pittsburg, Carly, Austin and Caden Lallemand of Walnut and Ashley, Morgan and Seth Little and Hunter and Heston Kavanagh, all of Girard; a brother, Jerry Walsh, and his wife, Joan, of Girard; and aunts, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Walnut with the Rev. Theodore Khin officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home at Girard.
