She was born July 20, 1919, on the family farm south of St. Paul to Mike and Goldie Kuffler.
She worked at the Broderick Co. and the Kansas Ordnance Plant in Parsons during World War II. She moved to Kansas City, Mo., and was employed by General Motors, where she met her husband, Laverne Webb, and then moved to Wichita.
When her sister died, she gained a son, Raymond McKiearnan of Harlingen, Texas. He survives as does his sons, her “grandsons,” Chaplain Stephen McKiernan of Larned and Thorvald McKiearnan of Louisburg. Also surviving is a niece, Helen Kuffler Weidert of Parsons; and a nephew, Edward Kuffler of Edna.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 32 years, Laverne Webb; her father, Mike Kuffler; her mother, Goldie Baty; three brothers, Henry Kuffler, Andrew Kuffler and John Kuffler; and a sister, Florence McKiearnan.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons with Chaplain Stephen McKiernan officiating.
