VINCENNES, Ind. — Clovie I. Kepford, 93, of Vincennes, Ind., formerly of Chetopa, died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

She was born Aug. 2, 1916, on the family farm north of Melrose, Kan., to Oscar and Nellie (Harrington) Smith. As a young girl, she grew up and attended Mount Pisgah country school.

She married Delbert Kepford on Feb. 14, 1949, in Oswego. He preceded her in death March 17, 2001.

She worked at Miller, Sperry and Bath funeral homes in Chetopa.

Survivors include two sons, Glen Richard Ochsenbein of Neosho, Mo., and Arthur Ray Ochsenbein of Forest Grove, Ore.; a daughter, Della P. Graham of Vincennes; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday to sign the register at the funeral home.
