WICHITA — Marcia Sue “Susie” Costner, 58, of Wichita died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, after a long battle with breast cancer.

She was born July 30, 1951, in Parsons to James Moody and Leona (Miller) Moody Russell. She graduated from Parsons High School 1970. She was a master gardener.

Survivors include her husband, Dallas E. “Tex” Costner of Wichita; her mother, Leona Russell of Parsons; two sisters, Jerri Miorandi of Pittsburg and Phyllis Moody of Hillborough, N.C.; two brothers, Fred Moody of Benbrook, Texas, and James Ray “Jimmy” Moody of Wichita; a stepbrother, Jerry Russell of Zavalla, Texas.

She was preceded in death by a son, Justin Brant LaForge; her father, James E. Moody; and her stepfather, Claude H. Russell.

No service is planned. Memorials can be made to the Sedgwick County Zoo.

All Faiths Mortuary and Crematory of Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
