OSWEGO — Maxine Womack of Oswego died on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Chetopa Manor in Chetopa.

She married Fred “Bus” Womack on Sept. 26, 1937. He preceded her in death in August 2001.

She worked for 32 years at King Louis Manufacturing Co. in Baxter Springs.

She is survived by a daughter, Alice; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her son, Dan, who died in August 1989.

The service will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, Okla. Interment will follow at Glen Abbey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. today until service time at the church. Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
