He was born Oct. 30, 1964, in Independence to Harley and Alene (Smith) Krunze. He attended Independence schools.
Survivors include his mother, Alene Smith of Cherryvale; two daughters, Mylenda Yocum of Coffeyville and Kimberly Krunze of Marysville; two grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Krunze and Douglas Smith of Cherryvale; and three sisters, Brenda Howard of Missouri, Lori Krunze and Julie Drake of Cherryvale.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cherryvale First Church of the Nazarene. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Potts Chapel of Cherryvale is in charge of arrangements.
