She was born on July 4, 1916, in Frontenac to Cotilda Turigliatto and Egidio San Romani. She was raised in Frontenac and attended schools there. She later attended Pittsburg State Teachers College.
She worked as a library aide at Riley School.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Gary; and a daughter, Kay.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Independence under the direction of Potts Chapel, Independence, with a reception to follow.
Memorials are suggested to the church.
