She was born May 8, 1973, at Parsons to Jim and Cassie F. (Whittley) Anderson. She was raised in Parsons and was a lifelong Parsons resident. Upon completing high school, she attended Labette Community College. She then began employment at Power Flame and most recently worked at Grandview. She spent the last two years as a homemaker, raising her two children.
On March 8, 1997, she married Michael E. Davis at Miami, Okla. He survives of the home.
She attended Calvary Baptist Church. Her hobbies included drawing, four-wheeling, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities. She also enjoyed spending time with her children.
Other survivors include a son, Chance Michael Davis of the home; a daughter, Loreli Hope Davis of the home; her father, Jim Anderson of Parsons; a brother and sister-in-law, Freed and Candy Anderson of Parsons; eight uncles, Ralph Whittley Jr., and his wife, Arra, of Altamont, John Whittley, and his wife, Robin, of Altamont, George Whittley of Oswego, Randy Whittley, and his wife, Karen, of Parsons, Willie Whittley of Oswego, Wayne Anderson of Craig, Colo., Art Anderson, and his wife, Marla, of Granby, Mo., and Jerry Anderson, and his wife, Brenda, of Dennis; seven aunts, Carolyn Housley, and her husband, Roy, of Parsons, Kay Essig, and her husband, Riley, of Independence, Peggy Kepley, and her husband, Danny, of Parsons, Patricia McGinnes, and her husband, Jesse, of Parsons, Wanda Noe, and her husband, Richard, of Parsons, Linda Greer, and her husband, Tim, of Kansas City, Mo., and Sandra McReynolds, and her husband, Jim, of Augusta; and numerous cousins and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cassie Anderson; her grandparents; and three cousins, T. Duvall, Robert Bowdre and Charlie Gibson.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Howell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
