WICHITA — Jon A. Richmond, 52, of Wichita, a native of Parsons, died Tuesday morning at his home in Wichita.

He was born Sept. 9, 1957, in Parsons to Jay and Joy (Ashley) Richmond. He had lived in Parsons, Tulsa, Little Rock, Ark., St. Louis and Wichita. He graduated from Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Mo., and had a master’s degree from Wichita State University.

For several years he worked as a motorcycle salesman. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association.

Survivors include a brother, Jac Richmond of St. Charles, Mo.; a sister, Jan Dineen of St. Charles, Mo.; and an aunt, Dana Jane Saliba of Parsons.

His parents preceded him in death.

The servcie will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Parsons. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons. Memorials are suggested to the church in Parsons and may be left at or sent to Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Box 942, Parsons, 67357.
