ALTAMONT — Daniel Percy Lattimore, 89, of Altamont died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

He was born June 7, 1920, in Camak, Ga., to Daniel and Druda (Carden) Lattimore.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University. He worked as a purchasing agent for various companies in the aerospace industry in California.

Survivors include his wife, Natalie Baker Lattimore of Altamont; two daughters, Joanne Lavoie of Sacramento, Calif., and Kerry Lattimore of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sons, Daniel Peter Lattimore of Davis, Calif., Arthur Lattimore of Sacramento, Calif., and Carson Lattimore of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin.

The memorial service and inurnment will be at a later date in Hickory Grove, S.C.
