ALTAMONT -- Donna Rose Snowden, 68, of Altamont died at her home early Saturday morning, Nov. 8, 2008. Her death was unexpected.

She was born Feb. 14, 1940, at Yates Center to Philip and Maxine (Hartwell) McCrary. She grew up and attended school in Altamont and graduated from the Labette County High School there. In the 1980s, she moved to Grove, Okla., where she lived until returning to Altamont two years ago.

She enjoyed selling items on Ebay. She also enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets and walking her dog.

Survivors include her companion, Raymond Baker Sr. of the home; two sons, Pat Foster and his wife, Betsy, of Mustang, Okla., and Kenny Foster of Parsons; a daughter, Denise Aunko and her husband, Derek, of Mustang, Okla.; three grandchildren, Joshua Gwillim, Tyler Gwillim and Bailey Jo Foster; two sisters, Phyllis Brown of Yukon, Okla., and Janet Hinman of Parsons.

The graveside memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association and may be left at or mailed to Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 325, Altamont, 67330.
