MIAMI, Okla. — Everett “Truman” Geouge, 86, of Miami, Okla., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born March 6, 1923, in Miami to Everett and Laura (Utter) Geouge.

He married Ruth Oakley on Dec. 28, 1943, and she survives of the home.

He joined the U.S. Navy.

He operated the Miami Airport.

Other survivors include two daughters; Connie Beair of Bartlesville, Okla., and Marsha Mauersberger of Pittsburg; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The service will be at 10 a.m. today at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Pittsburg Humane Society or Integris Hospice.
