Jacinta Marie Schibi, the 6-day-old daughter of Patrick H. and Brooke E. (Volmer) Schibi, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born Aug. 31 at Labette Health in Parsons.

Survivors include her parents, Patrick and Brooke Schibi of the home in Parsons; a brother, Drew Schibi of the home; two sisters, Cynthia and Sydney Schibi of the home; paternal grandparents, Jim and Janey Schibi of Parsons; maternal grandparents, Gary and Kerry Volmer of St. Paul; great-grandparents, Dick and Dorothy Volmer of rural Parsons, Margie Crager of St. Paul and Lorraine Westhoff of St. Paul; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
