He was born on Sept. 10, 1936, at Quincy, Ill. to Janes P. and Mary (Dary) Reddick.
He resided in Arkansas, Missouri, Colorado, Arizona and California before moving to Parsons. He was a carpenter working in new home construction and remodeling.
He served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing and boxing in his younger years.
He was married and later divorced.
Survivors included his caregivers, Christine David and Sarah Harness, both of Parsons, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Mansfield.
Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the community room at Plaza Place, 2000 Katy Drive. Burial will be in Fort Scott National Cemetery at a later date.
