He was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Coldwater to George Andrew and Lillian Rebecca (Prince) Beebe. He grew up and attended schools in Coldwater, where he graduated high school.
Following high school graduation, he served the U.S. Army. He worked for a number of years at Lipton Tea Co. in Independence, Mo.
Survivors include three sons, Kevin Beebe of Independence, Mo., Keith Beebe of South Carolina and Karl Beebe of Appleton City, Mo.; three daughters, Karen Wood of Belton, Mo., Kathy Reighard of Drexel, Mo., and Kerrie Hartzell of Quincy, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Arthur Beebe, Lee Beebe, both of Parsons, Delbert Beebe of Shawnee Mission, Clayton Beebe of Albuquerque, N.M., and Clifford Beebe of Buffalo, Mo.; and a sister, Dollie Olds of Parsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Mo. The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons was in charge of arrangements.
Paul Anthony Seiler
INDEPENDENCE -- Paul Anthony Seiler, 60, of Independence died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at his home following a fight with cancer.
He was born May 23, 1948, in Mount Clemens, Mich., to Elmer and Leona Seiler. He attended and graduated from Lutheran schools in Michigan.
He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He made his career as a journeyman electrician.
He married Jacquelyn Wilson on Nov. 25, 1978, in Charlevoix, Mich. She survives of the home.
Survivors also include a son, Robert; a daughter, Lorrianne; three grandchildren; a brother; and three sisters.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Potts Chapel in Independence. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Harry Hynes Hospice and these may be left at or sent to the funeral home, 122 S. Pennsylvania, Independence, 67301.
