PRYOR, Okla. -- Joe Raymond Judd, 81, of Pryor, Okla., died at 3:39 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at his home. He had been in failing health.

He was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Treece to John Raymond and Emma Lorraine (Balay) Judd. He was a graduate of Commerce High School in Commerce, Okla.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

He worked as a truck driver and laborer at Arco Warehouse in Tulsa, retiring from there in 1971.

He married Betty Irene Littlejohn on Aug. 24, 1956, in Quapaw, Okla. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four daughters, Terri Huto of Salina, Okla., Kathi Mitchell of Jacksonville, Fla., Janet Nelson of Locust Grove, Okla., and Tami Musgrave of Pryor, Okla.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Judd of Baxter Springs; and a sister, Shirley Marney of Tulsa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Russell Creek Cemetery near Chetopa. Friends may call at Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home to sign the register book today.
