She was born on Aug. 2, 1927, in Oswego to Earl and Nancy (Tindle) Hardin. She attended schools in Oswego, Vinita, Okla., and Denver and high school in Oswego.
She married Howard C. “Red” Lindsey on Aug. 14, 1945, in Oswego. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1998.
She managed the kitchen at Meals on Wheels in Burlington until retiring.
Survivors include a son, Michael Lindsey of White Settlement, Texas; a daughter, Linda Munoz of Burlington; six granddaughters; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and an infant daughter.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.
