COFFEYVILLE — Vera D. Talbot, 87, of Coffeyville died on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Windsor Place.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1926, to Pearl and Ida (Mozingo) Foster at Parsons. She grew up in Parsons and attended Parsons schools before graduating from McCune High School.

On Dec. 29, 1945, she married Frank Talbot at Dallas. They made their home in Dallas before moving to Coffeyville in 1982. Frank preceded her in death in 1982.

She was a member of the Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting and crocheting, but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Woolfolk and her husband, Roy, of Coffeyville; two sons, Mike Talbot and his wife, Denise, of Kentucky and David Talbot and his wife, Gloria, of Parsons; a sister, Donna Myers of Dennis; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Frank Leslie Talbot Jr.; a great-grandson, Michael Talbot; and her parents.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
