MOUND VALLEY — Charla M. (Cramer) Seager, 53, of Mound Valley died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1959, at Parsons to Charles Andrew and Golda May (Meier) Cramer. She grew up and attended school in Mound Valley and then Labette County High School in Altamont, where she graduated in 1977.

She was employed as a secretary at Fitzgerald Industries at Mound Valley for several years.

She married to Sam R. Seager on Aug. 5, 1977, at Mound Valley. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include a son, Brett Seager of Wichita; three grandchildren; her parents, Charles and Golda Cramer of Mound Valley; and four brothers, Mike Cramer Warren Cramer and Mark Cramer, all of Mound Valley, and Russell Cramer of Boonville, Mo.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kassia Seager, who died in May 2012.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mound Valley Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to either Mound Valley Christian Church or to a fund to offset expenses and may be left at or mailed to Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral in Altamont.
