ELDON, Mo. — Harvey Pascal Fry III, 62, of Eldon, Mo., formerly of Oswego, died on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at his residence.

He was born on Jan. 19, 1950, in Warrenton, Mo., to Harvey Jr. and Lorna (Edmonson) Fry.

He married Patty Blair on Feb. 21, 1969, in Independence. She survives of the home.

He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy in the Vietnam and Gulf wars.

He was a physician’s assistant.

Other survivors include three sons, Harvey Fry IV of Lamar, Mo., Ryan Fry of Butte, Mont., and Jeremy Fry of Eldon, Mo.; four daughters, Jennifer Donaldson, Allison Fry, both of Joplin, Patricia Fry of Rich Hill, Mo., and Courtney Fry of Eldon, Mo.; nine grandchildren; his mother, Lorna Edwards of Lake Ozark, Mo.; two brothers, Charles Fry of Lake Ozark, Mo., and Fred Fry of New Florence, Mo.; and two sisters, Brenda Sonnenberg of Rocky Mount, Mo., and Sheila Lipscomb of New Florence, Mo.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Derfelt Funeral Home, 203 Illinois St., Oswego. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. There will be a private burial later. Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Mo., is in charge of local arrangements.
