He was born on Nov. 18, 1941, in Bolivar, Mo., to Jess Harrison and Nellie May (Craft) Davis. As a young boy, he grew up in Bolivar.
Survivors include a brother, Merle Davis of Chanute; and five sisters, Neomi Turner of Chanute, Betty Craft, Jane Pease, both of Iola, Linda Harris of Quapaw, Okla., and Melba Hutchins of Joplin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and three sisters.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Moran Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
