WICHITA — Lucille Eleanor “Midge” Miller, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012.

She was born Nov. 24, 1928, in Newton, N.J., to Minna (Echkardt) and Oscar Hubert Frenzke. She graduated from New Jersey College for Women (now Douglass College) in 1946 with a bachelor of science degree. She earned a master of Christian education at Biblical Seminary in New York.

On May 29, 1945, she married Milton Miller. They served in churches in Southeast Kansas until retiring in 1994.

Survivors include her husband, Milton; her son, Timothy of Parsons State Hospital and Training Center; and a brother, David Miller of Ponca City, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and 4-year-old brother Herbert.

The service was Wednesday in Mulvane. She was buried in Mulvane Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to First United Methodist Church or Open Doors may be left with Broadway Mortuary, Wichita.
