BUHLER — Eli Walker Reed, 22, of Buhler died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at his home.

He was born Nov. 4, 1990, in Newton the son of Kelly E. and Jolene (Stover) Reed. He had played basketball and football at Buhler High School and was a student at Kansas State University.

Survivors include his parents, Kelly and Jolene Reed of Buhler; a sister, Audra Reed of Spearville; a brother, Terry Reed of Hutchinson; grandparents, Mick Walker of Pittsburg and Harrison Stover of Lawrence; and a great-grandmother, Melba Walker of Pittsburg.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shelby and Audrey Reed; and great-grandfather, Charles Walker.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church. Burial will follow in the Buhler East Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church in Buhler, where family will greet friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
