BERNICE, Okla. — Jimmy D. Hill, 57, of Bernice, Okla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in Wyandotte, Okla.

He was born Aug. 21, 1955, in Coffeyville to Allen Sylvester and Carrie Josephine (Elder) Hill. He lived in the Bernice area for the past two years, moving from Springfield, Mo.

He was an owner operator for his trucking company. He loved to hunt, fish and the outdoors. He enjoyed his dogs and loved to be at the smoker smoking meat. He loved family. He is a Christian and attended First Baptist Church of Cleora, Okla.

He married Pattie (Adams) on Feb. 20, 1981, in Coffeyville. She survives of the home.

Survivors include three daughters, Jamie Tharp of Ozark, Mo., Jamie Reyes of Tulsa and Alicia Hill of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Allen Dale and his wife, Susie, of South Coffeyville, Okla.; two sisters, Joan Weatherby and her husband, John, of Fredonia and Allene Cartwright of Winter Park, Fla.; and a grandchild, Talon Tharp.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Jo; and a sister, Virginia Canine.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Cleora, Okla., with Brother Dave Pifer officiating.

Services are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla.
