WELCH, Okla. — Archie A. Neill, 81, of Welch, Okla., died on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at his home after a sudden illness.

He was born on May 14, 1931, in Coffeyville to Floyd Edward and Nine Belle (Spears) Neill. He was a graduate of Welch High School.

He married Betty S. Keithly on Dec. 14, 1987, in Miami, Okla. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2012.

He worked for Neill Feed Lot for many years before retiring.

Survivors include a son, Jack Ballew of Big Cabin, Okla.; three daughters, Dixie Curry of Miami, Okla., Lora Neill of Afton, Okla., and Betsy Hurst of Welch; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janice Layton of Welch.   

He also was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Welch Christian Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Interment at Welch City Cemetery, Welch, OK.
