She was born on June 16, 1932, in Coffeyville to Edward J. and Patricia (O’Connell) Lind. She attended Holy Name Catholic School and graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. She attended Coffeyville Community College.
She was employed at Continental Can Co., Garvey Elevators in Wichita and Avco-Space Division in Tulsa.
She married Tom Dann on Feb. 24, 1968. They moved to Parsons in 1969. After marriage, she was employed at Adventure Line, Dwayne’s Photo and the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons. They retired in 1993 and moved to Wilmington, N.C. They returned to Parsons in 2009.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Dann of the home; a sister, Julia Wadkins and her husband, Steve, of Parsons; two brothers, Don Lind and his wife, Brenda, of Coffeyville and Mike Lind and his wife, Jan, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sisters-in-law, Louise Lind of Wichita and Elizabeth George of Wilmington, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Catherine Borum and Dorothy Pope Davenport; and a brother, Edward A. Lind.
The Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Coffeyville, with the Rev. Ben Nguyen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. David W. Barnes Funeral Home, Coffeyville, is in charge of arrangements.
