She was born to Otis and Vera Hawkins. She formerly lived in Parsons.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy D. Affholder of Death Valley, Calif.; four daughters, Mother Galina of Ellwood City, Pa., Jan Newberry of Derby, Jean Montanye of Wichita and Suzy Menges of Goddard; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a brother, Harold Hawkins of Sedan.
The service was Monday at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
Memorials are suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, or Great Plains Diabetes Research, 200 S. Hillside, Wichita.
