Ruth Miriam (Dolan) Owens, 85, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at the Maryland Masonic Nursing Home.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, Bennie George Owens, who was born in Parsons; her children, Mark Flynn Owens and Gail Sue Mann; grandchildren, Karen Frances Owens, Mary Alice Owens and Kirby Kristina Mann; and a sister-in-law, Catherine Schildgen of Parsons.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Weems Creek Baptist Church, 600 N. Bestgate Dr., Annapolis, Md., 21401.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or to Weems Creek Baptist Church.
