CENTER, Colo. -- Glen R. Bozman, 67, of Center, Colo., formerly of Edna, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.
He was born March 31, 1941, in Edna to Sumner O. and Dorothy E. (Brown) Bozman. He grew up and attended schools in Edna and was a 1959 graduate of Edna High School.
Throughout much of his adult life, he lived and farmed in the Edna area. In 1988, he moved to Colorado, where he managed a carrot processing plant, retiring from there in 2005 because of ill health.
Glen loved the outdoors and enjoyed snowmobiling, ice fishing and motorcycles. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Monte Vista, Colo. He was a Methodist.
He married Sharon Richardson on July 30, 1961, in Edna. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Glenda Reynolds and her husband, John, of Edna and Becky Madron of Greeley, Colo.; two granddaughters, Kendra Reynolds and Allie Reynolds; a brother, Wayne Bozman of Edna; and four sisters, Colene Smith of Dubois, Wyo., Freda Cink of Caldwell, Carolyn Mawson of Florissant, Mo., and Martha Holliday of Liberty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Bozman, in 1985; and a brother, Bud Bozman.
The service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Edna United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery at Edna. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont.
