Syretta T. Conger, 34, a lifelong resident of Parsons, died at 9:48 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Via Christi Hospital on the St. Francis Campus in Wichita.

She was born Nov. 1, 1977, in Parsons to Vernell Eugene and Cleo Melinda (Conger) Golston. She grew up and attended schools in Parsons. 

Survivors include her parents, Vernell and Cleo Golston of the home; several children; two brothers, Jermaine Golston of Liberty, Mo., and Vernell Golston Jr. of Parsons; and two sisters, Tesa Conger and Robin Golston, both of Parsons.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
