He was born Jan. 22, 1946, in Arma to Anthony & Edith (Pristernik) Schreppel.
Jimmie served in the United States Army and was a revenue supervisor in the oil industry.
He married Annette Williams on March 27, 1965, in Frontenac. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Jimmie Ray Schreppel Jr. of Dewey, Okla.; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Joe, Jeff and Jay Schreppel; and three sisters, Joyce Smith, Jennifer Meeks and Julee Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at the Catholic Church of St. Benedict at Broken Arrow, Okla.
The family has suggested memorials to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, P.O. Box 597, Coweta, Okla., 74429.
