BILLINGS, Mo. — Norma Jean Hayes Brewer, 81, of Billings, Mo., died on Thursday, May 24, 2012, in Billings.

She was born on Feb. 1, 1931, in Iola to Herbert Albert and Elizabeth Sarah (Chamberlain) Hayes.

She worked as a meat wrapper for more than 40 years and retired from Superior Meat Co. in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Survivors include six children, Pamela Burns, Tommy Brewer, Rod Brewer, Sheldon Brewer, Sue Fiechter and John Brewer; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Brewer; a grandson, Jonathan Brewer; and her parents.

Meadors Funeral Home in Republic, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.

The graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Cemetery, St. Paul.
