Dora Boore, 87, of Parsons, formerly of Altamont, died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Society of Parsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rex Boore, in May 1962.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will be in McCune Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to The 506 Foundation Inc. to be used for music and journalism student scholarships or the Good Samaritan Society Garden Fund. These may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, 67357.
