CHETOPA — Rhonda Sue Hale, 55, of Chetopa died Friday, June 8, 2012, at her home. She had been in her usual health and death was not expected.

She was born Sept. 12, 1956, in Pineville, Ky., to William Albert and Maureen (Hoskins) Partin. She attended Henderson Settlement High School in Frakes, Ky.

She married David Hale. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her father, William Partin of Middlesboro, Ky.; two half brothers, Brian Partin of Clear Creek, Ky., and Jamie Partin of New Tazewell, Tenn.; and two half sisters, Kimberly Smith of Sharps Chapel, Tenn., and Melissa Partin of Chenoa, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her mother; a brother, Lonnie Partin; and a half sister, Lana Partin.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa. No service is planned at this time.
