OSWEGO — Verlyn E. White, 76, of rural Oswego died at 5:33 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. He had been hospitalized since being injured in an automobile accident on April 8. His wife, Sharon White, survives.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Oswego Christian Church, with burial to follow in the Oswego Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Parsons is in charge of arrangements and friends may call there until 3 p.m. Friday, when the casket will be removed to the church. Complete obituary details will be announced.
