Patricia “Pat” Fanshaw, 72, of Parsons died at 3:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at her home. She had been in failing health.

She was born Nov. 10, 1939, in Cherryvale to Charles Arthur and Zella Mae (Welden) Corn. 

As a young girl, she grew up and attended schools in Independence where she graduated high school. Through the years she owned and maintained rental properties.

She married Gary Grant Godfrey. He preceded her in death. She married Nicholas John Ficarella. He preceded her in death. She married Robert Bruce Fanshaw. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include six sons, Steven Godfrey and his wife, Janene, Nicholas Ficarella, all of Parsons, Arthur Godfrey of Gilbert, Ariz., Jeff Godfrey of Mesa, Ariz., John Ficarella and Michael Ficarella, both of Wichita; three daughters, Pam Dollack and her husband, Wayne, of Gilbert, Ariz., Kim Ward and Linda Stevens, both of Parsons; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and her fiance, William Gatton of the home..

Following cremation, no services are scheduled at this time. The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
