ALTAMONT — Jennifer Larson, 34, of Altamont died Saturday morning, Feb. 18, 2012, at her home. Death was unexpected, but she had been in failing health several years.

She was born April 14, 1977, in Parsons to John A. and Debra K. (Pearce) Stuart. She grew up in the Parsons area and attended high school in Altamont. Later she also took classes at Labette Community College.

For about 12 years she worked as a home care attendant for Southeast Kansas Independent Living. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include a son, Clinton, of the home; her mother, Debra Wulfkuhle of the home; her father, John Stuart, of Tulsa; grandparents, Linda and David Hedrick of Altamont; a brother, Randall Larson of Altamont; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Collin Dale; and her paternal grandparents, Clinton and Alice Stuart.

A memorial gathering will take place later, with the time and place to be announced. She will be cremated. Memorials are suggested to a fund to help defray expenses. They may be left at or sent to Carson-Wall Funeral Home, P.O. Box 942, Parsons, 67357.
