BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Fred W. McMillan, 80, of Broken Arrow, Okla., died on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his home.
He was born July 17, 1931, Strauss to Fred W. and Mary Elsie (Fowler) McMillan. He attended McCune schools and graduated from McCune High School. He served in the Army.
He was an industrial bearing salesman, retiring from Allied Bearings in 2002.
He married Bonita Stewart in 1952. They later divorced. He married Peggy Headrick on Sept. 10, 1966, in Mullinsville. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Jeffrey McMillan of Blackhawk, Colo., and Robb McMillan of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Stephanie Cisneros of Eunice, N.M.; one grandchild; three sisters, Bernieta Fincher of Pittsburg, Maxine Braman of Frontenac and Betty Ruth McMillan of Parsons.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence McMillan; and three sisters, Doris Sexton, Lois Blake and Berniece Knight; and a granddaughter.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Okla. He has been cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
